About Us

At the Senior Care Advancement Initiative, our mission is to create a future where every older adult can access comfortable, enriching, and supportive living environments, regardless of their financial means. We believe that all seniors deserve to maintain their independence and well-being as they age, without worrying about the financial burden of quality care.

You Have the Power to Improve Senior Living

The Founder

Henry Miller

Chief Executive Officer

Why did you start the Senior Care Advancement Initiative?

My family has been severely impacted by the state of senior care in the US. My 102-year-old great grandmother, who was still riding her motorcycle at 97, had to sell her home and deplete her savings to afford assisted living. However, she eventually needed 24/7 care, which we couldn’t afford. Her decline was accelerated by falls, surgeries, and a lack of stimulating activities at her facility. This experience motivated me to found SCAI, with the goal of creating a future where seniors can access care without burdening their families and providing them with engaging activities to reduce their risk of neurodegenerative diseases.

Vision

We envision a future where every older adult can age with dignity, comfort, and independence, regardless of their financial circumstances. A future where accessible, enriching, and supportive living environments are available to all seniors, allowing them to maintain their well-being and quality of life as they navigate the later stages of their lives.

Mission

The Senior Care Advancement Initiative is on a mission to create sustainable solutions that ensure affordable, high-quality living arrangements for seniors. We strive to raise awareness, advocate for policy changes, and collaborate with communities, healthcare providers, and policymakers to address the financial barriers that often prevent older adults from accessing the care and support they deserve.
